March 19-05
- Guns
Shackles & Winter Coats future shows with the current cast have
been canceled... some issues between some of the cast and Producer /
Playwrite caused the show to expire before its time. However, I
learned alot from the play and I consider the whole situation a great
experience!
March 18-05
- I don't
normally write in here about shows that I've seen but I saw an AWESOME
one tonight... its called Planet Banana, and it was the most
entertaining show I have seen yet! They are running through may 7th I
think, you should check them out for sure! http://www.theatermania.com/content/show.cfm/show/109898
March 12-05
- Opening
night went very well for Guns Shackles & Winter coats! There were a
few small glitches but overall it was a success. It was nice to have a
few of my friends come too for the support! The next show will be on
the 22nd at "Where Eagles Dare" theater.
March 8-05
- On my submission
I sent out I got two responses, one was a return enevelope with my
submission in it thanking me for making the effort but saying they are
not currently takening on new talent, and the other was a call from an
agent who said he was interested but does not work "managers". Ah
well... thats how it all works out sometime. I should be doing another
mailing for legit agents in the coming weeks.
Feb 28-05
- I recieved
a letter from SAG a few days ago saying I am eligible to join. I think
I will wait a bit longer though before I actually pay the dues and
become a member. .
- I am
working on a mailing for commercial agents, a few recommended by my
manager and the rest straight out of Ross Reports, I am sending out 53
headshots.
Feb 25-05
- I slipped
on the ice on thursday and slammed my chin on the ground. I have 10
stiches now and will probably have a scar left when everything heals...
we will have to wait and see.. It could have been much worse so I guess
I should be happy!
Feb 17-05
- I
auditioned today for the "super hero" job for the Board Game and Toy
convention - I did well but not quiet my best. It was a fun experience
though. I also auditioned for "The Taken" at Baker management, I think
that went well too but we'll see if I get a call back.
Feb 16-05
- We had
another rehearseal today for Guns Schakles and Winter Coats. Its going
to be an awesome play, I am really think its going to turn out well.
Hopefully we will get a good response from it and run it through for a
couple of weeks or so, if that happens we might even end up making a
little bit of money in the end, though I am just glad to be working
with such good people.
- My Manager
Tobe called me during the rehearsal, she lined up my first audition
through her. Its tomorrow on 43rd street, its for a Ex SAG contract
paying feature, my role I am going for is an early 20's fun loving
college guy which I think I can hit up pretty well! It would be nice to
book it or at least get a call back so I can send a positive message
Tobe's way.
Feb 5-05
- Shot some
retakes
of Moon Over New York today. It did not take long at all. The group
really is an awesome bunch of people. I'm glad I got to be a part of
it... I'm looking forward to seeing the final product in a couple
months too!
Feb 2-05
- I
auditioned for
the non-union film Hostel. It was just an average performance, not
expecting a call back.
Feb 1-05
- !!Booked!!
I booked a play,
Guns Shackles & Winter Coats. I play Private Thomas Johnson, a
young shoulder who is a witness to the mental break down of his Squad
leader. The play is opening March 12th and the Producers Club.
Jan 24-05
- Filming
on Hacker started today, man it was a blast! The people working on the
project were alot of fun and funny as all get out. The concept for the
movie is pretty cool - I think it will be a nice addition to my resume
and reel! Great comedic experience!
Jan 20-05
- !!Booked!!
the role of Alfie Hacker in
Hacker. I booked slash got offered the lead role in a 10 minute
short student film at NYFA. I had worked with friends of the director
on some prior shoots and she saw my worked, like it and offered me the
role.
Jan 3-05
- !!Booked!!
the role of Rick in The
Night They
Came Back II! Its a
supporting role in an indie, I have few
scenes and they are going all out on the make up and special effects!
Should be alot of fun! Keep an eye out for pictures under the
production shots!
Jan 2-05
- I wrote and
e-mailed out my year in review update
letter. I am in the process
of
reformating Wandering Heart so it is not such a large file. Tomorrow I
have an audition for a co staring role in an indie zombie movie. Right
now I am booked in a small speaking part in the film but am hoping to
get moved up to the larger role. The film shoots in March & April.
Dec 21-04
- I
uploaded Wandering Heart one of my first films onto the site - You can
find it under the REEL section. Its broken into two parts for easier
viewing - but beware, it is a very large file and takes a few minutes
to download on broadband. I am not expecting any audiiton calls or
such until after the holidays.. it is just to slow right now, but
hopefully things will pick up quickly after new years. I am off to my
day job - Happy Holidays.
Dec 18-04
- Shooting
for
my indie Moon Over New York started on
Friday. I was in the first scene -- mostly establishing shots, no
dialoge yet. The day started off well, its a very professional ran
shoot so far. Starbucks even donated some free hot chocolate and coffee
which was nice. My next scenes wont be shot until January, but I have
officially listed this project on my resume. I have not heard from Tobe
yet, I checked in with her last friday, she has all of my info and is
ready to go, but I guess things in general are just slow this time of
year.
