My story starts when I was born at Alexandria Hospital in Northern Virginia to Jane Albrecht and Robert Kinsler. My early life was a series of transitions and changes. I lived with my parents for a short bit, but spent most of my childhood being raised by my extended family. My grandmother and aunt were two very important people during those early years. Right around my twelfth birthday I moved back in with my Dad and his new wife Holly. I went to Woodbridge middle school and then later to Gar-field high while living in the Lakeridge area. Overall I was a pretty normal adolescent. I played baseball for a couple years until I got into crew (rowing) my freshman year at high school and have rowed ever since. I graduated from Gar-field high in 3 years and then went to basic training for the Virginia Army National Guard. I went into the 29th Infantry division and stayed there for almost 3 years. During that time I started taking classes at George Mason University. I completed one semester and then went on active duty. I was stationed at the National Guard Bureau in Arlington VA for eight months. After I finished that tour of duty I went back to school for another two semesters. During that time I joined Theta Chi Fraternity and continued my rowing. While I was attending classes, and right before my third year of service, I transferred to the Public affairs detachment of the 75th troop command of the District of Columbia’s National Guard. I started with them during October of 2003. There I am involved with the media department and provide public affairs assistance to the Army and Air Guard of the District of Columbia. I went back on active duty for the summer 04 until I moved to NYC on the 1st of August.
My independence has been both a contributing factor and a result of my dynamic life. I’ve lived either on campus or on my own since I was 17 years old, though this summer I was back with the parents to save money for my move to the big city. Overall I am just an average guy. I listen to almost every station on the radio and just enjoy living life. I guess the reason I’ve chosen to pursue acting as my life’s career is because I wanted to do something that would make me happy. I heard once that if you love what you do for a living you’ll never work a day in your life so I am going for that ideal. Of course right now I am working the “survival” jobs and probably will for quite some time but the feeling I get when I think about how I am constantly chasing my dreams is truly awesome. I love to entertain people. It makes me happy to see others smiling. The ability to evoke an emotional response in other people through your performance is an amazing skill. When I finally get to a level where I can accomplish that I'll consider myself successful. Right now though, I am just enjoying being here in the city and going after my goals.
I know this is short but who wants to be bored with stories of my youth? With that I just want to say thank you for coming to my site. I hope you enjoy it and if you’d like to get a hold of me all of my information can be found on my contact page. Thanks again!
